Mirapolis opens with the breathtaking expanse of ‘I, Philip’, a glistening jewel of ambience that measures up to any of Brian Eno’s best work. It sets the tone nicely for a dense, detailed album, full of rich textures and stylistic left-turns.

    A new Rone album, Mirapolis, will see release on InFiné Music in November. Mirapolis will be Erwan Castex's fourth LP as Rone, and his first in three years. The French producer's inspirations for the album include a childhood memory of the Mirapolis amusement park—he never experienced the park himself, only passing by it along the way to a family vacation—and the classic Fritz Lang film Metropolis.
